    Hello all,

I've got a stuck motor or actuator for my windscreen blower, so I need to remove the glove box to get access to the motors. I've unscrewed five 8mm screws (three along the top of the glove box and two at the bottom corners of the glove box, but it is still being held by something at the top centre. I have a 6 CD changer in there, and was really hoping not to have to remove it as well since I'll have to get hold of the keys.
Before I go looking for the keys is it really necessary? The box is almost free but I don't want to force it any more. Is there another screw somewhere behind/above the CD changer? If I need the keys where is the best place to get them? eBay?

    Many thanks for any help!

Yup I think there's one behind/above the changer.

You can get the keys from halfords/ car accessories shop.

Ok, thanks. I will check in Halfords tomorrow. I've checked on their website but I can't find any ones for Audi. I think they should have a curved edge with a groove? Or will generic ones do the job?

These are the ones you need, I suppose for all the price of them you'd could keep them for any future use

Yes there is a hidden bolt behind changer, some have the bolt, some don't.

There was indeed another bolt above the changer - thanks for the info. Picked up the stereo keys from Halfords on my way home and got the glove box out after that and also the motor for the demister. I checked it in the house and it's not dead, but it might have been jammed when it was in the car. I've manually opened the demister flap for now anyway so at least I can see where I'm going...
I'll fit the motor back tomorrow and see if it's happy.
    Cheers,
