    Hi all,anyone know how to remove the rear cup holder on a bora.It'not broke,just stuck together with years of juice!Need to remove to clean it and grease it up again.Any help much appreciated as dont want to damage anything!

    hiya mate,

    from looking at it and from memory, i think you will need to remove the 2 side covers of the unit, this will allow you inside, you ought to be able to see any attaching screws etc and take it from there.

    those rear cup holders are a pain for sticking.

    Finally got round to looking at it!You were right.Un-clip the sides of the ashtray,unclip the ashtray,press down 2 metal tabs on cup holder cassette and slide out!Total time about 1 minute,tools required just a small slotted screwdriver or similar.It was well stuck together with sticky stuff,a good clean with hot soapy water and a quick grease up and it glides smoothly again!
