    Hi..

    I have a 1985 Golf Mk2 1.6 cl 5 door

my dizzy is knackered as in the threads have gone and the points etc can no longer be held in place in the unit.

I have ordered a few replacement distributors from places saying that they are compatible, however when trying to fit it is clear that they are not. Everything on the vehicle is original (and a bit worn out) the picture is of the part number #0 231 170 ?

has anyone got experience of finding the parts for this model? or any advice/recommendations?

    cheers

    the Blunderbus
