Where is Touran alarm sounder?

On the odd occasion when it goes off, it's a very weak sound, so sounder must be nearly kaput. Can't trace where sound is coming from. 2004 model.

Under the windscreen, you need to remove the bulkhead panel behind the engine. A bit fiddly, 4 bolts from memory and the plastic bits at each end that come round onto the wings. My alarm sounder got binned a few years back after it failed.

Its under the wiper motor on the driver side (2008 Tdi)
