    Hi guys

I am new to the forum and was after some advice please.

I have a old a4 quattro , the coolant pipe under the inlet manifold has developed a major leak.

Where the rubber pipe attaches to the metal pipework, just behind the cam belt cover the metal has rotted out and is majorly leaking.

    My questions are:

    1. is there a trick to remove the pipework without removing the inlet manifold , I cant see how , but worth asking.
    2. how long roughly does it take to remove the inlet manifold and refit ( just trying to weigh up the cost of having it done at a garage or do it myself )
    3. Where can i get the pipe , i have trawled the web and cant seem to find one.

Any help or advice anyone can give would be greatly received.

    Thanks

    tim

    Bit late, but:

I did this with mine, it can be done but it's a complete nightmare, not that it's hard but getting at one bolt inparticlar, if you can take it off do so.
