Hi, exactly as title says.... I've a new a6 avant BE on order. Have until tomorrow to finalise the colour. Had originally chosen glacier white but am now starting to have second thoughts! Is it worth the extra £655 to go from ibis to glacier? I currently drive an ibis white a4 avant BE and it looks smart. I was really going for glacier this time just to be different. I also like some of the daytona grey versions I have seen. Should I just go for the ibis white and spend the £655 on extras? Ie lighting pack or reverse camera? Basically looking your input or photos of your own cars in these colours. I really wouldn't be disappointed with any of the three but hoping for a bit of help in choosing. Guess I'm having a 'I used to be indecisive but now I just don't know moments!' Look forward to reading your comments guys!

When both clean and side by side ibis pops more and seem to have a deeper finish in my opinion

Like daytona but white stands out more with the Rotas

Also if both glacier and ibis where the same price I would go ibis everytime

solids give a better finish when polished. From experience they also seem harder wearing than metallics due to the different top coast of lacquer used on metalic/pearl

i have found the pearl marks easily and then looks like a scratch under the surface even after polishing etc if you get my drift

I was liking the ibis until I scrolled down further and seen the glacier! They both look nice and got to admit my a4 in ibis looks white, whereas glacier seems to take on the colour of whatever surrounds it, if you know what I mean. Also I'm opting for the titanium Matt finish 5 twin spoke alloys rather than the rotors this time having seen them on an rs6 at the local dealers. They look smart too.

Spend the extra on lighting pack and reversing camera. That's what I did and the combo of lighting pack and ibis white is great. Reversing camera is useful but beware that the picture quality is rubbish.
