Recently bought a 2008 A6 Avant with mmi 2g high. Trying to update Sat nav but won't eject. Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

Try these via vcds...

Unlock Player To Eject Navigation DVD (MMI Low)
[0E - Media Player 1]
[Channel 65] -> to be changed from 1 to 0 and done.
(The eject button only works with the key in the ignition (red lights on the player on) and you need to press and hold eject for couple of seconds)

Unlock Player To Eject Navigation DVD (MMI High)
[37 - Navigation]
[Channel 68] -> to be changed from 1 to 0 and done. (1 = Eject Button inactive - Anti-Theft)
