My head is now spinning trying to identify the correct battery for my B6 S4 Cab

Ideally I want a Bosch or Varta but every site I go to either doesn't have the S4 listed or shows something totally the wrong size

Does any one know the definitive battery part numbers for my car?

Once I have it I will have the inevitable task of replacing which from what I read is a PITA - no choice though as the old boat is dead on the driveway

Was trying this evening but their site was broken

Sod's law just tried now et voila

I just hope their site is right I will probably go for the ironically named S4 battery which is really well priced

But then again they say the S5 is for cars with higher drain items like electric seats and I guess roofs

    Hmmm

I fitted an Exide to my S4 Avant, EB802 80Ah, the carry handle just made it easy to leave the shop with.

    Thanks

I figured removing the bonnet strut and using a long bar with one person either side of each wing is the way to go

This should make lifting it out and putting the new one back in easier than standing on the engine
