    Good morning,

I am looking to upgrade my A6 C7 to an A8 or S8 D4 but I like more the LWB.
The A8 4.0 TFSI LWB have the engine code CEUA which is a 420hp engine and the S8 CGTA with 520/605hp both with tiptronic gearbox
My question...is there any difference between these 2 engines that cause the drop of the power for the first one or it`s just a soft limit made by Audi?
The only 2 differences that I was able to find while searching for more details were "Compresion ratio" 10.1:1 for CEUA and 9.3:1 for CGTA.
The second difference is the Fuel (Premium 91 AKI v Premium 93 AKI).
On top of that, I was unable to find any other difference which lead me to a soft limitation?

P.S. I`ve used the search function but nothing came up.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi!
There will be a lot more to it than just a soft limitation. Valve movement and cam profiles might be different for instance. Exhaust, manifolds might be different too.

if you want the power and the LWB, you would be better off going to a decent and recognised aftermarket programmer for the ECU.
If you are in the U.K, then have a look at Shark Performance. He is in Mansfield (I haven't used him, but have heard good things)

Try to get one with Adaptive Cruise. It is a fantastic option!!!
And the comfort seats... with Bose or better....

    I'll stop now!
