    I have a a2 with a broken cam belt.it broke at 35 m p h. What damage would be done?and can it be fixed?

    Spotted this thread, figured it was worth putting a reply. At 35mph i would expect some bent valves, seeing as it's an interference engine, but it's all about luck. I know someone who's cambelt went at about 15mph and he put a new one on and the car was fine. No bent valves. It really is all about luck.
