Car looks nice. What was the mileage incidentally?

In terms of whether it can be repaired, then yes, but labour charge will be the killer. The rocker cover needs to be taken off initially just to check, but the head will need to come off too. Undoubtedly there will be damaged and bent valve stems, guides, possible piston damage, etc. Sometimes easier just to replace the entire engine, as you'll be looking at gaskets, new head bolts, etc. That's assuming the head is intact with no holes.

If rebuilding, then renew the water pump, auxilliary belts, etc. If you're looking for replacement engine, then there's one here: http://overton.salvagemarket.co.uk/v...248703#content

Suggest you ask the same question on A2OC forum. They'll answer in a day or so. There are a number of Indy specialists on that forum that work on A2s, so you'll be in good company.
