    Hi

I have a Audi SE Q 3.0L TDI in Grey Metallic.

The other day I parked under a tree and when I returned there was Bird Muck, most probably Pigeons had left what can only be described as little slashes over my roof and boot lid, I thought I'd better wash the car?

After drying it I noticed these little round marks still visible so I though I would try some polish on it, however this didn't help and the marks are still visible :-)

Anybody had this problem and know a way to remove these marks left by the birds?

Most likely the acid in their droppings has eaten into the clearcoat. You can cut back the damage by polishing with a compound such as Autoglym Paint Renovator or T-Cut. Go easy though, don't take too much off.

I found Macguires Scratch X to be good at removing seagull poo burn marks (after leaving their poop on for just 4 hours it left horrid marks ).
