I recently purchased a seat toledo and my parking sensors don't work, there is no noise when I engage the reverse gear. It was fitted with a tow bar however the hitch is disconnected, I'm not sure if it was factory fitted.
Parking is a nightmare as I just can't see. Is there any quick fix or will I have to buy new sensors?

The sensors may have been disconnected due to towbar fitment.
Take it back to the dealer.

I bought the car from a dealer which is 70 miles away. I thought it may have been disconnected and was wondering if there was a simple way to reconnect or enable the sensors! I've checked the fuses and they are fine. And would it be simple to reconnect the wires?

You could try a scan for faults and also an output test to see if they work, a local garage may be able to help.

You make it sound simple, I know a guy who works in a skoda garage, I will give him a ring tmora and see what he can do. I didn't want to pester him and hoped I could solve it myself. I may have to bite the bullet.

Good choice, he should have access to the software to scan the car for faults and recode if necessary.
