I've done a full scan and it's also come up with these faults too, could all this be caused by a dodgy battery? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411040030.865510.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1411040047.706084.jpg

To check the timing you take out the blanking plates at the back of the head and fit two locking pins and then take out the crank G28 sensor under the inlet manifold and fit a pin through its hole into the flywheel.

    Flywheel peg

    Inlet cam peg

Exhaust cam peg, out of time

These pictures show the exhaust cam had jumped, by two teeth in this case if my memory is correct.

That fault code says you need to check the wiring from the ECU to the throttle body IF the ECU and the TB are correct.

I am having trouble reading any pictures you post, you should use the print to file function and print text.

Think I've finally found the culprit, the throttle body plug was wet! Quick spray of wd40 seems to have cured it but going to take it for a test drive as I've been in this situation before where all seems fine but it's looking promising this time (fingers crossed) thanks for all your help crasher you've defiantly helped me out and by the looks of things a lot of other people appreciate your help too!
thanks again mate credit to you

My pleasure. The things I post may turn out to not be applicable to your problem but they can help other people.
