2003 VW Passat GLS Sedan - Aftermarket Stereo Install - Keysense?

Hello, I am installing a pioneer avh-p1400dvd deck into my car.
I have it wired etc and ready to go in, but its not shutting off when I take my key out of the ignition.
This deck does not have an "off" button, and I dont want it to stay on when I take my key out.
I would like to hook this up to the keysense wire if possible so that I can have the capability to shut the deck off.
I have the constant yellow(to the yellow in the stereo harness) and ignition red(connected to the red in the stereo harness).
tried yellow to red as well as I read in a few forums that that may work, but it doesnt.

Any ideas? Where can I tap in without tearing the steering column apart?

Nevermind, I got it good enough.
I dropped the lowerside of the driverside dash and tapped into the 75x block. Its not as good as the keysense feature, but its an alternative to tapping into fuse block.
Its a 12v thats on when the ignition is turned on, and off completely once you turn off the ignition.
Someday I may tap into the keysense wire by the ignition switch but for now, im happy.
Btw, the dvd player was a tight fit, and doesn't need to be bolted in like a normal stereo.
Its a great fit.
