Red brake warning light flashing and constant abs light

Hi I'm new here and new to audi I have a 2000 audi a4 1.6 petrol iv had it about a week and started the car this morning and the car came up with a 3 beeps and a flashing red brake warning with a ! In the middle and a yellow abs light iv done some digging around on the internet and it seems as if it could be abs module am I right or could it be somthing simple ? Any help would be very grateful

You need a diagnostic scan mate

welcome to the forum. could be one of many many things. first, you need a diagnostic scan. this will tell you why the abs light is on. look up the moderator, a6chris. he has a map with people on it who own vcds . there may be a local member who can help you out with a scan.

a garage will charge 30 - 70 quid. another member will do it for beer moneyish.

could also be low brake fluid , have you checked that. not the abs light, just the ! one.
