The rest of the door card is held with the the usual pop clips that can be either be easy to pop out or an absolute pita.
    Once the door card is off and cables disconnected there is a large plastic panel with the bowden cable passing through it remove that and you have access to the handle assembly from the back but as you know the handle is removed from the outside. The handle led cables are fed through the handle itself and then inside.
    Ive fitted the light bars to the trim and makes the interior so much more uber class. You will need to enable the ambient light in vcds
    HI I dont have a recent enough copy of elsa to cover my 2012 C7, could you post up some exact instructions on removing passenger interor door card. Have a rattle I need to get the door card off.

    Thanks Jay

    Really tempted to attempt this mod myself when my car finally arrives but removing the door handle worries me massively. Would anybody be so kind as to provide detailed pictures of how to remove the handle exactly?

    I bought the connectors from Audi and made my own - the part numbers are all in ETKA.

    Funnily looking at exactly this myself at the moment. And have been looking at etka, but don't think the part number is obvious. It looks like it should be 4H0 973 702 'flat contact housing connecting part entry light', but googling that part number doesn't look quite the right shape (my handle leds have come with a white oval shaped connector in them).

    Etka here: --><!--

    Also, any idea what the repair wire(s) are that are required in total?

    Thanks

    Yes that is the correct part number and the right connector @ £2.23. You need 1 repair wire 000 979 034E per connector @ £12.07/pk5

    Lovely, thanks. Does it need a different repair wire for the other end to connect into the door controller?

    Thanks again, and presumably the other pin to an earth, somewhere on the door (not to the controller), enable with VCDS and sorted?
