    hi

    i recently had a car accident and the front end of the car was damaged so a full new front end has be replaced. but i think there is something missing,
    if you look at the front grille you can see the metal beam im sure that i couldn't see that be before, anyone will a a4 b8 have a look at there car for me please. thanks

    below are the picture take from the top on the engine with the plastic cover removed, does this look right i think there is something missing i could never the the metal beam before i think can some check there car for me please

    also i have just noticed that there is condensation in the driver side headlight the headlights have been replaced be the garage so are brand new, should there be any condenation in the light unit if there are new?? below is a picture, it was rain here to and have just check the condensation has started to disappear is this normal? other headlight no condensation at all.

    In above photo from your post you are missing P/N:- 8K0 807 081 , its the lock carrier cover.

    thank you for replying back, i have that cover but on your car if you look at your grille can you see the steel beam or does it have a cover on it??

    Sorry mate, just re read your post 1 and saw you removed the lock carrier cover for photo , I'm not a A4 B8 owner.

    The only thing that come across my mind looking at parts cat is a foam impact absorber/filler piece which goes between the grille/bumper cover and the metal bumper.

    You can see images and exploded diagrams by doing a google image search of 8K0 807 550 .

    There are 3 types of the foam impact absorber/filler depending on year of your A4 B8.

    Maybe yours was painted black and you didn't notice it as much? I saw a thread once where a guy had replaced his grille and had to paint the bar behind to make it less visible

    Perhaps as old one had lost its shininess from age/dirt not show through as much?
