I'm currently running an Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard but have acquired a gigabyte ga-970a-ds3p (rev. 1.0) motherboard in a deal
now ive no major plans on running crossfire but would it be worthwhile swapping boards over? or do I hang off and buy a newer am3+ board?

    my current spec is

    windows 7
    Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
    12gb ddr3
    amd fx 6200
msi 3gb r7950 oc be edition

well ive went for the ga-970a-ds3p due to it having a newer chip set on the motherboard and compared to my old one...
its a lot quicker even though its running with the same cpu, ram, graphics card and hard drives
