    Question Wheel Bearings – 15-07-2014,12:45 PM
    guys i have a 2010 Sline A5

    when i go about 40 mph i hear a slight drone. and it gets louder at faster speed.

    would describe the noise as a drone/tapping kind of.

    now i have booked it in to be looked at under Arnold Clark After Care

    and they said if it is not the bearings they will charge me £90

    now i wanna be 100% sure that it is the bearings before putting it in.

    plus also i have my MOT at the audi cent this weekend too.

    what you recommend guys?

    so you buy it from ac, its under warranty yet if its not the bearings they will charge you 90 quids for telling you its not the bearings. i would tell them to take a running jump, take it elsewhere and give ac the bill.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    The arrenty is a extra on top warranty because the manufacture warranty ran out so it is AC's own "aftercare" wonder if i hsould kick up <removed> about them trying that one ??
