    The centre console in my car was a mess when I bought the car. Got a replacement price from Audi at 100 pounds +. I had it vinyl wrapped (twice) but it is not 100%. It is difficult for the wrapping guys as the part is so complicated. They did a great job on the door trims though.
    I think I will end up buying the replacement from Audi, just so it looks right.
    I have no experience of dipping.
    A6 2007 2.0 TDI Saloon
    A4 2002 1.9 TDI Avant
