Audi charging 180 for a gearbox oil service on a 2.7 tdi c6 avant auto?

So I have booked it in tomorrow .... I won't say anything to them and I have already tried to ascertain whether this is an error. I am assured it's not


G 060 162 A2

This is the correct oil part number, but this oil is expensive.
Mine is a tiptronic

What year is your car?
What is current SW in trans.ECU?
Have they stated they will do SW update if required?

If you truly believe this then why are you not a) Going to an independent and b) supplying your own oil??

The plus side of getting Audi to do it would though if they ball's it up they may help him out? or try to sell him a new car? ...

Am due up in Manch in a few weeks, if this price is for real will be booking it in!

IIRC Bristol transmissions charged me £230+VAT for aftermarket fluid and filter and would have charged £340+VAT for OEM, did promise myself I'd have another fluid change at between 5-10k miles and am at 8k now.

Let's know how it goes, my tip box used 7.5l of fluid

So it turns out that they got it wrong.... I am getting a service for £99 and the gear box service for 270


I have asked for a discount and May get it all for 345....
