Hi all. The hood on my wife's A4 cab (2007, 3.2 quattro) has developed a green tinge in recent months, particularly around the base at the rear, below the window. It improves when washed but is returning faster each time and I clearly need to treat it properly. Looks like there are several treatment options out there - any tips on favourites or those to avoid?
    Thanks.

Hi, I had the same problem with mine after I had bought it. Tried a few different products which were only a temporary fix. Then tried a product called Wet&Forget. It worked brilliantly with no return of the algae. Just follow instructions and be patient.

That's quite an impressive title, but it still didn't work for me. Wet& Forget treats the algae and kills the spores.
