    Hi,

I'd like to up the power in my Avant.

I'm aware of APR and their tune but was wondering if there are others out there with a proven tune?

Doc, may be helpful if you had a more exact location listed

    'West' could be anywhere

So for instance I live in Somerset and could recommend places only to find you're in the West of Scotland!

As it happens I'm currently in San Francisco but during the week live on the West Coast of Wales.

Travelling is not an issue as I can work as far afield as central London and Durham.

Would prefer to have a drive in/out type of remap rather than the APR ECU out type.

    Appreciate the input.

I'm afraid you'll need the ecu out regardless of which map you choose.

Chris, I honestly didn't know that and thought it was only facelifts onwards that required ECU out to remap?

Doc, these are the people that did my quad zausts and remap, £650 was the total and am guessing £300 was the remap price, but they did have my car for 2 days.

They've a branch in Swansea if any good for you?

PS: Am unsure why this is in the petrol section as thought A6's only came in 2.8/3.2 & 4.2 in petrol guise?

Yep facelifts only as the ecu is write protected through the obd.

Thanks for the confirmation regarding the ECU.

    just to reiterate it's a 2010 A6 Avant petrol 3.0 supercharged.

I guess APR is my best bet.

My first post, having been registered a while...

I've got the same engine and have been looking into this too. There doesn't seem to be much choice, looks like APR, Revo and I also found AMD do one for a little less that the other two.

    I'm still still undecided.
