Ok so I have recently bought a cabriolet and I am actually loving it even though the weather hasn't been that great. However my headlights are condensing and will fail my next mot, anyone know where aftermarket options are available as i'm not willing to pay £700 for standard replacements. i've spent age's searching the internet but they never seem to have anything that fits my car

Take the headlights, take them indoors and dry them out.

Thanks, if they were worth saving I would do this problem is they are already ruined inside, the lenses on both headlights are almost a milky colour now.

Try the dectane website in Germany. Use the main site rather than the mobile phone shop version. I have a4 b7 rear LEDs from them. Got good service. They do headlights too, about £250 a pair.

When you say milky do you mean that the clear coat has gone on the surface?

If so an hour with a 3m kit and drill will sort this out easily

    Fair enough

Confederation can be fixed with a small hole drilled in the bottom of the unit plus a new grommet and the lenses can be restored like new with about an hours work
