    Hey all,

So as I'm sure many people know, a lot of recent BMWs have been found to be vulnerable to a "trick" where a thief can code a new key directly from the OBDII port - it's even made Sky News today
Unfortunately this isn't limited to BMW with reports of Mercedes and newer Audi's also at risk.

So the question is, is it newer cars with keyless entry that are exposed or are older models like my 05 A6 also open to this hack? I see BMW have released a fix but haven't seen anything similar from Audi yet.

    Anyone know more?
