    Hello to all.

i have a 2.0 TDI a6 4F from 2005 with MMI 2G BASIC PLUS with red screen.... and my system stopped working.... no signal... even rebooting with the sequence... no response..even no sound and so..

The only thing visible that seams to be jammed or so, is the CD PLAYER that is blinking the Ejector button and the lights to identify the place to insert the cd.

    Any ideas????

all fuses are ok, and its a weird thing... because, some times, the same sound that is used when we reboot, the system does that for a long period of time!!!! like a long loop.

in fiber optics scan in VCDS is giving error in all modules..

    any idea?

Control head unit failure??? the head unit is the cd player right?

    regards

    hello again...

next monday i will post the vcdd log..

i've tried to find the control head module, but it's not in the location referenced by the service manual near the can bus under the glovebox...

In this version is on the cdplayer??? or hidden in other place?
