Hi Guys I have a 1998 1.9tdi avante a4 b5 afn and have sourced by mistake a pair of audi a6 c5 1998 front shock absorbers and springs Is it true they share front suspension parts between the A4 B5 94-99 and the A6 C5.97-2001? can I fit.

I am aware on the facelift 99-01 A4 the shocker fork is narrower than the a4 94-99 shocker.

Springs shouldn't matter (and part numbers are shared across models) as long as the paint codes are the same.

Do you have the part number(s) for the shocks?

Ah, you might be better off asking Monroe or your reseller in that case.
