    i know its probably been asked 500 times before but i have searched and can't find the sizes im wondering

    i have a 2.0 tdi mk5 golf [08] and i have found a set of wheels, but i am unsure if i can get them to fit, i really like the look of them

    they are et35 215/45r17

    reason for 17's and not 18 or 19's is i live quite far out and roads are very bad.

    im currently stock ride height but i am considering a minimal drop of maybe 1-3"

    second set i am considering is

    18X8 ET43 tyres are 235.40.18
    CENTRE BORE 57.1

    Check the tyre sizes for your specific car before considering anything which comes with tyres, they're listed either inside the fuel filler flap or drivers door jam.

    knowing the offset (ET) is no good without knowing the width (J)
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    sorry the width of the 17 is 7.5

    width of the 18 is 8
