Very slight knocking noise when dry steering

Hello all!

I have a 59 reg Audi a3 8p TDi and have owned it about 7 months, purchased from an Audi dealer. I have only just noticed a very slight knocking noise when I turn the steering wheel when stationery and with the engine on. it doesn't seem to be making this noise when steering with the engine off although there is a creaking noise when nearly on full lock with either the engine on or off, the car has done approximately 55k miles so far.

The knocking noise is very faint but you can hear it over the engine noise and is coming from the passenger side area, it does not happen while moving.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated thank you

Got it checked out at the dealers as it was still under warranty. It was the top mount bearing. It was replaced and the noise has gone.
