I have a Sharan 2008 model with a boot door switch problem.
When I open the central look and open the boot door, after 30 sec. the central look and alarm activates again. I have to open a side door to prevent this.

Previous owner had the car at a service center (not VW) and they replaced the locking mechanism because the central locking didn’t work on the boot door.

What shall I look for and where? Is it a micro switch in the locking mechanism with additional wire/cable to this?

Have you checked the wiring going to the boot door through the flexible pipes at the top? Common for wires to break/wear at these points.

    Thanks. I will check it.
