After finding a substantial pool of water in the spare wheel well of our Golf estate, I have explored the possible causes and come to the conclusion that it could be coming from the panoramic sunroof.
If anyone has any experience of this, or other thoughts on possible causes, I would be very grateful to hear them.
    Thanks,
    Russ

Check the sun roof drainage channels are clear from debris, also check your rear lights aren't letting in water either.

    Hi again Chris,
I will check the drainage channels tomorrow. Its interesting you mentioned the rear lights, as the offside light is misting up a little, since the car was bumped on that corner during last summer. The seal seems ok, but is something I am keeping an eye on.
I also had a DAB antenna fitted last October, and some of the trim around the tailgate looks a bit ill fitting, I will address this soon.
    Thanks,
    Russ

Hi Chris, I have been trying to find the source of my leak and have concluded that the water is coming in from high up in the car. i.e. the sunroof or aerial. As the aerial is only a small area, I am more inclined to think it is the panoramic sunroof. The trouble I am having is locating the drain holes for this, I assume being a large area that it will have at least 4 drains. I can only locate the front 2. The rear glass section is fixed, so I don't know if there are any drain holes under this. I have trawled the interweb trying to find the location of these, but with no joy. Do you have any idea how I can find out where these drains are? Thanks, Russ
