I will not fit mine until I swap my winter wheels for summer... MIGHT be late-March depending on time available and weather but otherwise will be mid April cos I am traveling on business.

Washed car today and noticed these plastic stick on protectors on wing/door bottom edges. As stated; tar contamination is issue in these areas. Not sure how these stick on panels will last with my tar spot remover applications. In summary: Need mud guards.

Yeah allroad has them too, as does my wifes A1. Trouble is the splatter from road mess does WAY further up the doors than those things cover.
Was looking at someones 204 bhp C7 Avant and I guess it has narrower wheels.. cos mine stick out an inch or so wider which is fine at the top of the wheel arch but not at the bottom where you can clearly see the edge of the tyre. I think that is why it is so good at throwing crap up the side of the car.

I considered mudflaps when buying the car, and decided it could wait. Now I can see the dirt, specially behind the front wheels, only a few miles after a wash. On a white car, it's quite annoying.

So will follow this thread with attention and depending on feedback will get some flaps as well.

Ehmmmm ; I think I have cocked up here. The flaps I just purchased are part numbers 4G9 ; eg; 4G9075111 for fronts etc: Parts were as labelled for the A6 All Road. The parts that potentially fit the saloons/avants are parts numbers 4G0; eg; 4G0075111 for fronts. Shute! Lesson learned; avoid Late night iPad shopping: Sigh. . . Queue up all you all-road drivers with mud flap needs. Shall report back when received.
