you sprayed egr cleaner in the intake? what's that gonna help?? egr has some connection to intake, but it won't suck air in so the cleaner won't work... it will just burn inside the engine, so you made some very expensive smoke
the egr is connected to exhaust on one side and then intake on the other (that's why it's called exhaust gas recirculation)... maybe cooler in between. if you cannot locate the exhaust and intake manifolds then:

find someone local to you who has some idea of cars to change it for you.... even in a garage it should not take 1.5 days.... not sure where you got that idea from?

Yep I was sold a pup! Hence joining this forum so that I could cut through the BS.

I would have thought that someone could have pointed me in the direction of, yes take the top cover off, then look down the back RH side of the engine block and where the exhaust rises from underneath and just before it connects to the space contimuim modulator is the elusive EGR valve. Disconnect the cable, then unbolt and sorted. Simples....

How hard can it be to take off and put on.

The 1.5 days came from a Garage. Maybe they are going to Pimp my ride!
