    Just added 5 more tricks I've found and the others from this thread. ;-)
    Audi A7, S-line, 313 PS BiTDI Tiptronic, Daytona Grey, heated front and rear seats, Audi connect, quad zone climate control, ski chute and bag, Rear tints, 75 Litre fuel tank, All LED headlights, Night vision assistant, Rear view camera with corner view, Navigation plus, MMI touch, Heads up display, Adaptive Cruise control, Blind spot monitoring and active lane assist.     Great work m1tchy. One thing I dislike is the radio coming on every time I start the car irrespective if it was off when I left the car. Any idea how to keep it switched off.

    One more question - is there a way to disable the dinging when the drivers door is opened while the engine is running. This is annoying when I step out to get the mail out of the mailbox which is a few blocks from my house.

    Use the arrows for mode on the steering wheel. Press them when the noise starts and it stops. Great as it is very annoying if you are trying to speak to someone with the door open!

    Pushing the arrow on the steering wheel turned off the door open alarm as noted. Works perfectly.

    what is the best way to interact with the VCDS system ? there are quite a few interfaces for sale and they range from £20 to £650 !
