Hello guys, I have a simple question.
Do you have the ignition on and engine running at the same time when coding with the VCDS, or is it enough just to have the ignition on?

    Hi,

Can someone recommend a trustworthy supplier for VCDS system (harness and software) in the UK?

Pick up my new (to me ) A7 in the next few days and want to do some of these mods ASAP.

    Cheers.

    Gendan: http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCV23.html

    or Ilexa: VCDS/VAG-COMHEXV2Ent3VIN

There is a few different variants depending on how many cars you want to use it on. Basic one lets you could 3 different cars, then there is a 10 vin and unlimited, price increases accordingly

One thing i noticed today on mine was that the logo on the DIS in the speedo cluster shows a6 instead of a7! I must have changed this by mistake and can't figure out how to get it back onto A7. Anyone have any ideas what module its under to change this?

That's the one. Seems like I change d option to say rest of world(rhd) which changes the logo to a6. Putting it to rest of world(LHD) make it a7 which it was on by default, strange!
