HI I am doing retrofit to Mmi 3g with Hdd I have few questions but not all in one go, the main one for me is where I can get the wires for all I bought on ebay and this is what I bought
    screen 4F0919604
    Control panel 8T0919609F
Navigation drive x2 SD slots 8T2035666E
    Radio Tuner 4F035056B
I do have MMI 2G with sat nav in the boot,
I have searched the web but could't find the wire kit for
    MMI 3G upgrade
and do I need any thing more than is here I have vcds

As now I do know how to change the screen but the rest is uncertainty we will see.

And the last thing I have bought B&O Amp and 10 speakers from S4, now I know that this Amp will not fit MMI 2G so I have decided to upgrade to MMI 3G it on my own with help from somebody, but I have replaced speakers today and God what a sound and I still have to replace these 3 in the front. My question is the standard Amp is 185 Watts the B&O is 505 Watts can I burn the standard I have in my car till I get everything MMI3G plus B&O Amp?? - it may take a long time

    Any Help will be appreciated

Here's what I used for my Concert to MMI 3G high:
    Concert to MMI 3G High

    MMI Main Unit (J794) 8T2 035 666 H
    Gateway (J533) 8R0 907 468 D *this is a MMI 3G+ but the MMI 2G might work with a firmware update from Kufatec.co.uk?

    B&O Amplifier (J525) 8T0 035 223 AN
    Dab Radio (R) 4G0 035 061 D
    7 Inch Display (J685) 8F0 919 604
    AM/FM Antenna Amplifier (R112) 8K5 035 225 AA * MMI 2G won't work, I believe.
(DAB amplifier not needed with 056 radio)

    Control Panel (E380) 8T0 919 609 F
    B&O Amplifier Mount (Boot) 4F0 907 101 A
    Main Unit Mount (Dash) 8K0 858 969
    Radio Mount (Boot) 8T0 907 368 A
    Screen Trim 8K2 857 185 H (no

    Microphones (3) 4L1 035 711 C ?

    Fakra cables
    LVDS Cable (MMI to Display)
    GPS Receiver

With the B&O setup there is not much wiring needed as radio to amp and main unit to radio is done by the fibre optic cable.

There's lots of info on the internet just search MMI 3G retrofit.

Good luck. Double check these part numbers as I had problems cutting and pasting from my parts list.

I forgot to say my car is an A4 B8. Some other essential bits are a copy of Elsawin and some Bojo trim tools. I'll post some links to useful info tonight when I get home.

So as mine I have audi a4 Avant 2009 Thanks for any info and did You have MMI 2G sat nav before?

Hi parts have come but The dvd with sd card is 8R2 035 666B
    control panel is 8T0 919 611 K WFX
    screen 8R0 919 604A
    radio unit 4G0 035 061 J

everything is different from what I bought on the auction, so I will sort this out with the seller or can someone confirm that this will work so I can start looking for wires thanks

One more thing, if these parts even work and I will put them in and go to audi to take CP OFF and they will say they are stolen the seller may say I did't sell You these. These have different numbers. Anybody knows whats when parts are stolen??.

Looks like the MMI 3G+ kit and DAB radio. This is better than the MMI 3G High as it has google maps etc. Check out the Audizine forum as there is a good write up on the MMI 3G+ retrofit.
