Q7 not starting...HELP

My Q7 has a problem. It won't start.

Its been parked for 3 weeks.

I have tried jumping it, had the jump leads on for about 1 min from a started car, and couldn't get a response, from the Q7.

When I turn the key, there is nothing, nothing on the dash, Not turning over, no lights on dash, no pre heater lights, no dis, only thing that comes on is the radio!...however, the central locking, courtesy lighting, power boot etc work fine. This leads me to believe it is not the Battery. The battery has been replaced about a year ago.

I think it is the ignition switch, what do you guys think?....I have VAGCOM'd it, heres the results:

Did you find a fix for this? I have the same problem, i suspect its probably the steering lock actuator (expensive part).

For me i get that same error about steering actuator.

Dash is dead, MMI works. Tried to start car and nothing. I ran a scan with VCDS and cleared faults, then ran a new scan and half way through the scan the ignition comes on and i can start the car.

I drove 5 miles and stopped for 20 mins and same problem. Ran scan/erase/scan again and car starts.

Wow, this is an old thread being resurrected.

My fix according to Audi was a dead ignition switch, total cost was £1500 from Audi.

Mine was completely dead, your problem is different.
