Last night I went to pickup Mrs Greyanglia from an unfamiliar address in Tunbridge Wells and thought I would use the satnav - I have the Technology Pack. Weirdly it identified my location as somewhere in South -East London when I was actually between Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.

It tracked me along a a dead end road and then I sailed across the River Thames, went up the A13 and according to the Satnav became imprisoned in the Ford works at Dagenham!

i thought I'd stop the car, get out, lock it and wait a few minutes before rebooting it but it made no difference and it has still gone off on one today.

All suggestions for a fix greatly received or should I head for the nearest Dealer?

GPS antenna has maybe failed. Seems quite a common problem with a few of you on here having the same issue.

Thanks for the quick reply, Chris.

Sounds like a warranty fix although disappointing if this is a bit of a common fault.

father's doing something similar; when he's down in south wales, loses connection, says destination is 1000's of miles of away and time to destination is like 20 odd hours away. When he had it serviced before Christmas, he told Bradford Audi and they couldn't fault it. He's got the bog standard RMC Nav but im guessing its the same antenna.

Is it just A6's that are being affected or the whole model line up?

Wish they would do something about the pronunciation, the lady in mine struggles to say certain words,"lane" becomes a strange liliane, that's just one of many words she struggles with,my old 2005 a4 satnav was far superior to this one in the a7.
