    Hi, How would one determine the current version in the car, and also what the latest version from Audi currently is?

    Do a VCDS Autoscan, then have a look at the line beginning 'Component:' in Address 01: Engine

    Mine shows:
    Component: 2.0l R4/4V TF H12 0002


    ...and therefore the software version is H12 0002
    MY2009 A4 Saloon 2.0 TFSI quattro S-line Exec - Aruba Blue, 19" alloys, Convenience Key, Sunroof, Adaptive Lights, Anti-dazzle Folding Mirrors, Rear Sun Blind, Heated Full Leather with Memory, Storage/Light Packs, Audi Hold Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Parking System Advanced, Privacy Glass, Rear Airbags, TPMS. MMI 2G with B&O Sound System, DAB Radio, DVB TV, AMI and Bluetooth Phone prep High with Privacy Handset.
