they never did and never do.

this is opt to mot test station.

Its same rule as with petrol engine. There is tolerance for a reason.

i can disable dpf in the way that will be seen as healthy filter. it will show ashes level, last regeneration info and all info related to dpf.

it can be done on all vag cars.

Even when you knack housing it will looks like it have dpf fitted.

So can I, but I won't as it is illegal and immoral but you can't make an EU5 tailpipe stay clean without a DPF, if you could then you should sell your system to the world car manufactures and make your fortune.... Anyway, in 2020 most EU5 cars won't be worth their weight in scrap, many cities in the UK (including Nottingham) are bringing in emissions zones that will penalise all but EU4> Pertol and EU6> Diesel.

Thought though it will not affect private car owners, but will see the most polluting vehicles like old buses, taxis, coaches and lorries, discouraged from entering the zone through the charges.

Our local plan makes this statement

"Creation of a city centre low emission zone linking to DEFRA's Clean AirZone requirements 2020. Starting with restrictions for buses, coaches, taxis and heavy goods vehicles."

When does "starting" end and the next step be implemented? One year, two, six months?

nothing major will happen but better will be to let car runing for 5min for cool down as when it comes to regen the temp may go up to 600C!!.

But if you keep stopping at half way regen it will end up in the end with blocked filter and or force regen.

us tunap180 every 3 ful tanks it will drop down temp needed for cleaning filter.

regens are start on its own or every xxx mileas depends of driving style as well.

There are four levels of regeneration cycles, automatic without you knowing, regeneration whilst driving following the handbook method, forged regeneration whilst standing and forced whilst driving. In the latter two it would be unwise to shut down when the screen says the DPF is hovering at around the 900 degrees C area...
