a customer had a civic type r. horrid little thing it was. she is only young but her cars are her life. it needed an alternator and an abs sensor. the sensor is unique to the type r and dealer only, 200 quid. the alternator is unique to the type r, but managed to get a blue print one, 300 quid. i think it took 5 hours to change the alternator. i made mrs z do it as there was no way i was doing the job. needless to say she has now got rid. guess what she's got now, yes, an absolutely gorgeous orange 58 plate S3. what a freeking awesome car. 365 bhp as well, forge brakes, oz wheels, mint.
