I find this very frustrating with my Samsung S4 connected via RSAP. Also the received text message stays on the car and is not in the phones memory, very annoying if someone has sent a text with a phone number, or you just want to refer back or reply on the phone once you have left the car. To reply as others have said, other than the cars standard responses, you have to stop the car, turn ignition off etc. Thats all well and good, but I sometimes get my passenger to tap a reply, but I can no longer do that.

Having upgraded to an S4 to get RSAP, I think i will try and get the MMI udated, so I can get a data SIM and go back to my iphone, I just can't cope with the S4 battery life.

Nothing can be worse than an iPhone battery surely?

My iphone uses say 5-8% over night, which I have achieved with careful tweaking. The S4 is losing 30+%, despite it being rooted and all the battery saving apps running.

Hi justinos...the messages are on the phone still but you have to go in to messages menu and look under sim messages.

Does anyone know how to permanently change the service centre number??
After switching from Virgin to EE the Txt message function has been operating correctly for a couple of months until last week when I started to have exactly this problem.
Every time the car is turned off the service center number reverts to +7, any body have any ideas on how to get it save??
