Just got some winter tyres to go on the original alloys and need some advice on how best to store my summer tyres.

I have purchased some tyre bags to put them in and have made some space in the shed.

In terms of stacking them, am I safe to place them on top of each other rim side down (no more than one on top) or am I better placing them on its tread in a row side by side so not to place any weight and distort them?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I didn't know about rotating them myself. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing

Ok I walked into that one (had no choice coz my wheels weren't rotating)

Lidl/Aldi have tyre stands on special at the start of every winter but they have to be on rims for them.
