Question regarding the acoustic sound from the rear parking sensors

Hi,

I am buying an Audi A3 Sport, 2nd hand. It comes with factory fitted rear parking sensors, which work perfectly however the acoustic sound is very low. Is there a way I can increase the volume?

Would really appreciate your help on this one.

You should be able to adjust the volume via the DIS using the reset and rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk.

Depends on the year & modules versions installed, not all systems were enabled or possible for comfort menu's on the dis.

I managed but the acoustic signal is still quite low and music does not stop when reverse is activated!

Only newer modules engaged a canbus signal to the head unit to lower the music volume, which IMHO isn't low enough.

You can change volume on any year oem sensor system via vcds, but as stated not all have dis facilities for this.
