    Hi,

A few months ago I did a MMI update and lost some MMI function. i lost:
    Battery meter
    Max speed
    Computer 1
    Computer 2

I've got a VAGCOM cable and software and have been able to get the battery back, but cant find the other options anywhere. I've search forums too. Maybe its not called computer 1 and max speed.

My max speed was set to 70mph before the upgrade so everytime I go over it beeps real loud what a pain!

    Can you help!

    Thanks

Press and hold the [SETUP] and [CAR] buttons simultaneously for about four seconds

Scroll down to "DIAG SETTINGS" and press enter (by pushing the main rotary button)

Scroll down to "APK 0x01, 0x0B, 0x0C" and press enter

Scroll down to "BOARDCOMPUTER" and check this box by pushing the main rotary push button

Scroll to the bottom and select "Accept changes"

Press the [RETURN] button until you come out of the service menu

Close & reboot MMI by pressing "SETUP" + "MMI Control Knob" + "Upper Right Selection Button" (all together)

    Should do the trick.

    Hi Chris,

WOW - Thanks it did the job. They only thing I got missing now is I was able to see the MPH and other option in the little window between the dials on the dash. Can't seem to get that still. I thought it might have been linked ot the computer 1 and 2 but I guess not.

    Regards

Press reset below the wiper stalk, if it was there it should reappear as the MMI update doesn't affect the software of the instrument cluster.

I assume you're talking about the digital speedo? Or the speed warning?

    Hi,

I tried pressing the reset button and now I can get my two computer settings on the little display on the dash and can change it by pushing the little button on the end of the wiper stalk. But I only see Temp in bigger writting onthe top half of the screen and can't change it. I'm sure I was able to get an electronic speedo before.

Could you post a pic? If you turn the radio on it should become smaller. Are you sure you had the speedo?

What year is your car as most of the earlier ones didn't have it. Could you post the Instrument Cluster bit of an autoscan?

    HI,

I have similar issue although under the "Car" menu my System option has gone therefore not allowing me access to change settings in the On board computer.

I have tried the options detailed within this thread but when holding "Car" & "Setup" buttons nothing happens.

    i have a 2006 A6 3.0TDV6 Sline Quattro.

any assistance would be greatly appericated.

    Thanks,

    Andy

Ok so first of all you need someone to enable the Hidden Menu.

What do you mean System? I don't think I've ever seen a choice within CAR that says System on it.
