Avant- Boot Light Switch

Hi,

I hope this isn't a silly question, but where is the boot light switch for a '98 avant? I've noticed that sometimes the boot light comes on when it's opened and other times it doesn't. I've looked in all the usual places for the switch, but i can't find it? Is it in the lock?

Also, I just got a Haynes manual, and i mentions a sub in the left hand side of the avant boot. Is this a standard item, or was it part of the Bose option?

Had a look. It is in the roof, just by where the boot opens. There are settings to turn it on and turn it on when the boot opens.

Thanks for the reply. but it's a prob is in the switch. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I found another thread that says it's in the boot lock mechanism, i think it's a tilt switch.
