I finally found a Le Mans!

Well it seems it does pay to wait, after many miles travelling to see cars that weren't up to expectations, or in some cases even available I finally picked up my car yesterday.
08 Black LM saloon, black leather, black optics pack (I think that's what its called), 7 Audi stamps over 104k miles. Its got adaptive Xenon's, AMI, Bluetooth, privacy glass etc.

I'm going to decoke the intake using Gups guide, then look at a remap. I only got 38.6mpg on the 2 hour trip home at around 80 so I'm a little disappointed with that. My SAAB 2.0T (petrol) did 38 over the last 15k miles.

Thanks, it looks a bit gangsta so lets hope I don't get any unwanted attention! The boot is completely debadged except for the Audi rings. I'm wondering what it would look like with an RS6 grille...

You should be happy with 38.6 MPG as they advertise 33.2MPG.

Live with it, I've seen this consistently over the last 4 years. Seen 40.4 a handful of times, you can squeeze 50 out of it if you drive like miss daisy but where's the fun in that!

My 07 quattro saloon's black & debadged from the factory plus has (added by me) black rims and quad pipes...so proper gangsta stylee.

Never been stopped cos it looked suspect...only because was doing over *** MPH Although I can feel (the Force is strong in me) beemer drivers behind me asking themselves if it's a RS6

As over 100k I'd strongly advise a change of gearbox fluid and filter, supposed to be 'sealed for life' but IIRC Audi only warranty the gearbox for 80k miles. I had mine done ran an engine cleaner (auto-rx) and then remapped and the economy is quite good.

Very nice - I presume it's the 3.0 V6 as it has 229bhp?
