Hi all, just finished an engine/gearbox change and find the car starts to shake or chug from 1200 to 1800 rpm. No faults on vcds, timing spot on and everything else seems to be ok, anybody got any ideas? Arthur

, I am afraid so, gone thro all the obvious standard faults, have picked up that many people have a bit of a dead spot around these revs, so will next check the turbo wastegate actuator to see if its set right, am told the arm should just fit over the lever and then add eight turns, got any ideas if this is eight whole turns, seems a lot. I thought you had to check the boost on VCDS and adjust it as needed?

Yes, but you have to measure it on the move, and I am a one man band. Can do it but would be handy if I could get roughly there before hand, Arthur
