    Hiyya got a Audi A4 130 sport 2003 its due for a cambelt change been speaking to a mate he says i should have the water pump changed aswell. Should i have this done???? and how much would it all cost me??? Anyone with any advice????? Cheers

    Have a search about on here and you'll find a few posts about this. The original water pumps have plastic blades and aren't the best. New water pumps are about £30+ and are relatively easy to fit when the cambelt is being done.

    Hi,

    The belt should be changed at every 60k..

    Trust me... CHANGE the water pump..

    see below for the issue i had..

    Its a massive thread..

    Just like to say thanxs to everyone for the advice on the water pump and i think i will have it changed. Going to have a word down the garage see how much for the joblot to be done. thanxs again

    You will be looking at about £500 for it all done including parts...

    Parts alone cost about £180 retail price..
